APRE Report
It’s crazy to think that we are already more than half way through our final term! So many things have already happened, and so many more exciting things still to come. Firstly, thank you to all who supported our Mission Month Markets last Thursday. It was a great event where all the students could participate in some way and raise money for a great cause in Catholic Mission Australia.
Next week we begin our next act of social justice where we will be starting to support the St Vincent de Paul Christmas appeal. Each year communities are asked to generously give to the Christmas Appeal. This appeal provides struggling families in our local area with some Christmas cheer. Please see the poster below for the items your class are asked to bring in. There will be a basket placed in each classroom as well as one in the office for donations.
Please also see posters with important information (date and times) for upcoming events for the end of the year, ‘O Holy Night’ (our Christmas Carols evening) and our End of Year Liturgy. Our whole community are invited and encouraged to attend these events!
Whilst on invitations, this Monday (November 12) at 8:40am, Year 3 Kookaburras will be leading the school in a Remembrance Day assembly. Again, all are welcome to attend.
Have a great week, and God bless!
