This week marked our first assembly for the year.  I huge thanks to 5 / 6 Turtles on presenting, recognising all of our unique gifts, and that God accepts us, no matter our strengths or weaknesses.  It was wonderful as well to see many parents attend our first assembly and I would like to extend an invitation to all family and friends to attend assembly each week on Monday at 8:45am in the hall.  Please see the timetable below to see when your child might be presenting.

Beginning Year Liturgy

All families are invited to our Beginning Year Liturgy being held this coming Monday, 25/2 at 9:00am in ‘The Hall’.  Fr Dave will be here to pray with us as we celebrate the year ahead and launch our new school values.

Sacramental Program

Our Parish Sacramental Program began this week at school, with the first ever meeting taking place at St Benedict’s.  This is special as our school is very new to the Parish, and already we are creating a wonderful partnership with what is a very active parish.  Of the 120 students making their sacraments, we have 7 students participating in the program from St Benedict’s; Macy, Zahra, Ruby, Ebony, Peyton, Imogen and Steven.  A very big thank you must also be extended to Mrs Ros Baumann who is leading this group of students and their parents/carers as they prepare for these sacraments.
