Echidnas have been learning about shapes this week. We have talked about angles, sides, vertices, lots of shape names, even a dodecagon! We liked making shapes with sticks and dough and on the geoboards. We have learnt some new tricky words that describe lines- vertical, horizontal, diagonal, and parallel.

We are also getting very good at filling in blank 100 boards. We work together to put all the cards onto the mat.

Also lots of work during Guided Reading groups, including this activity where the students had to make a list of the things that were bought for the little dog.
