It has been a very exciting term in Year 2 hatching chickens as part of our eProject "Eggs Benedict".  Earlier in the term we hatched 3 baby chicks and this week we hatched 4 more baby chicks.  As part of Design and Technology students have been designing a mobile chicken coup that can house our baby chicks.  This week students were very proud to finish the prototype of their design.  

In Maths the Kingfishers have been exploring Place Value with lots of hands-on learning and games.  Students have been exploring different ways to read, write and expand numbers using hundreds, tens and ones.
