Year 2 Curlews
Curlews have settled back into Term 4 ready and enthusiastic to learn. Our classroom pets Yoshi, Frankie and Hermit have also enjoyed having Curlews back, especially Frankie.
Recently Curlews silkworms formed many cocoons and out of the cocoons came the Silkworm moths. This week Curlews have enjoyed unraveling the silk from the cocoons to make threads of silk. Did you know people make ropes out of silk because of their strong and durable properties.
