Mulkadee

Tonight I am thoroughly looking forward to attending Mulkadee’s Wizard of Oz showcase of students music, drama, and dance this evening. From all reports our students have had a fabulous time this week learning their roles and preparing for Showtime. Big thanks to Mr Christie for supporting our students over the week, even taking on bus driver duties.

Toys

We have had a number of students bringing toys to school, especially fidget toys. We have sensory toolkits in every classroom and in the office that are used for short term purposeful reasons and therefore these toys are not required at school. Please keep them at home as they only cause issues between children when they come to school.

School Pre-Verification

Our leadership team met with the TCE Service Team today to review our presentation for our upcoming Verification session in October. We were so pleased to be able to provide the evidence for each area of the Characteristics of an Effective Catholic School that shows we are rated as ‘Established’ or ‘Flourishing’ which are the two highest ratings you can get. It was a very affirming process and we look forward to the next stage where we get more involved in thinking and planning for our next set of goals for the next 5 years.

Catholic Education Week

Next week we celebrate Catholic Education Week with our main event being our Feast Day on Friday. Please remember that all families are welcome to come for our Mass at 9.00am and for Benny’s Got Talent at 2.00pm.
