This month is Mission Month, which is run through the Catholic Missions to support people and countries in need. Students in 4/5/6 participated in a Socktober Challenge in which they had to take two shots each using a regular soccer ball and a ‘sockball. Students were able to gain an insight into the lives of children who are less fortunate and how they play soccer. They all enjoyed getting to test Mr Daniel’s and Mr Matt’s goalie skills. They were able to put up a good effort but the 4/5/6 cohort definitely came out on top by scoring over 20 goals 

Students definitely found it much more difficult to kick the ‘sockball’ as it needed many repairs along the way.
