Well there is nothing like a few showers of rain to get the students excited. Puddles of water are the best source of joy for children, but they aren’t so great when we are trying to pour more concrete to finish our building project. At this stage though we should have the internal spaces ready for Step Up Day though which is a big relief.

Next year, we will be moving a number of year levels to different classroom blocks so we can accommodate our class groups the best we can. Next year we welcome 12 new staff to our school including 7 teachers and 5 school officers. We will be saying farewell to Mrs Caitlin Smith as she moves south with her family, Miss Kandis Orr (Mrs Huston) and Mrs Stevie-Lee Rowe while they go on maternity leave. Miss Jess Smitt will also be taking six months leave to study and have some adventures. School officers, Mrs Stacey Eisel and Mrs Angela Chandler will also be departing for new opportunities with family and work.

We are on the count down till the end of term. Please enjoy the activities planned for the last two weeks and pray for good weather for O’Holy Night and for our build. We love the rain but would be happy for it to hold off for those two things.
